Slavery was accepted for 244 years before a brave president did something about it. The 2nd amendment has been in place for 221 years...let's not wait 23 more. The author of this petition acknowledges the right to feed our families as well as the necessity of wildlife population control however, the need to re-address the intent, which would of course require re-wording of the 2nd amendment, is upon us. The American people are fed up with "the right to bear arms" interfering with "the pursuit of happiness" which includes the right to bear and raise children.
By signing this petition you are saying that as an American citizen you are asking lawmakers to re-word the 2nd amendment to include much stricter gun restrictions.
