We, the people of science be atheist, Christian, Catholic, or any other religious faith, have been told time and time again that we are pursuing a religion when pursuing the gain of knowledge and information of this universe in which we live. Due to this sometime persecution and sometime criticism, the people of science are requesting that the government of the United States acknowledge that a pope of science has been elected. This position shall serve only as a leader of scientific advancement and will have no power over the government or people. We elect this new leader of scientific discovery to be none other than the one and only Neil deGrasse Tyson. He shall serve to protect our scientific integrity and be the representative of advancement to come.
