Thanks to a compelling documentary series made by Vice News, thousands of people are aware of the constant danger that Afghan interpreters face for their service to the United States of America.
As a reward for their service to the United States, these men face death threats from the Taliban, from their neighbors, and sometimes their own relatives. Many of them and their families have already been murdered, beheaded, and videos of their murders uploaded to the Internet.
They are promised visas, they meet the qualifications for visas, yet they aren't given visas. Feeling betrayed, these men encourage other afghanis to avoid assisting coalition forces in Afghanistan, thus making our job harder overseas, and hurting our image internationally.
Please White House, bring these men "home."
