Acknowledge that PRISM violates the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution of the United States

Created by M.H. on June 22, 2013

Edward Snowden alleges that "I, sitting at my desk, certainly had the authorities to wiretap anyone, from you, or your accountant, to a federal judge, to even the President."

If Snowden's allegations are true, then the actions of the U.S. government represent an egregious violation of the Fourth Amendment.

Those who sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither. If we defeat terrorists at the cost of our own freedom, then it is not worth it.

Snowden is a hero who sacrificed everything so that the American people could know the truth. Instead of charging him with espionage, we should take his allegations of government espionage seriously.

In addition to a full pardon for Snowden, we call for a full investigation into the constitutionality of NSA wiretapping under the PRISM program.
