The majority of people who own AR-15's and other "military dressed" weapons are actually veterans or law enforcement officers. People who have been trusted before to carry these weapons in defense of their country. They have fought for and protected our rights and the public and media does not seem to recognize or acknowledge that an "Assault Weapon Ban" will take away a cherished right from the very people who have fought for our country. Please make a statement acknowledging that these veterans and law enforcement officers account for the vast majority of "assault weapon" owners.
