Acknowledge that the second amendment is for the purpose of the people to defend against tyranny, not for hunting.

According to our founding fathers the second amendment was needed explicitly for the people to defend against foreign and domestic governments.
"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."-Thomas Jefferson
Recent administrations have limited this right heavily, and beyond that politicians everywhere repeatedly state that the second amendment is for hunters and sportsman!
The Obama administration needs to be the first to take steps to start ensuring that the second amendment is either protected and followed the way it was written, OR come out and be honest about what you are actually trying to do in restricting our rights to arms and therefore restricting the second amendment.
