Acknowledge that the State of Indiana remains a loyal member of these great United States of America

Created by M.E. on November 14, 2012

Since December 11, 1816, Indiana has been a loyal member of the United States of America. Now, 196 years later, this has not changed.

Even when 11 members of the Union forgot their place in 1861, Indiana, and the faithful Hoosiers who populated this great state, gave their unwavering support during the Civil War.

Throughout the history of this great state, Indiana has supported the Union in times of war and peace, prosperity and depression.

This nation is truly greater than the sum of its parts.

We pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic, for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
