Obtain The Ancient Koran of Caliph Uthman for The Oath Ceremony of The First Muslim President of The United States

Created by Z.S. on January 11, 2016

Please consider efforts for the relocation of the ancient Uthmani Koran from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, to Washington, DC, the capital of Democracy.

The Koran is from Caliph Uthman's authoritative text published after consultation and consensus. Through the centuries, this volume moved from Madinah to Baghdad, to St. Petersburg, and then—because Lenin wanted to curry favor with the Muslims of the USSR—, finally to Central Asia.

The Caliph Uthman (d. 656) began his leadership after a voting process and culminated his pious rule with the rejection of martial law as a means to quiet dissent. Perhaps his democratic tendencies can best be honored in our times by the USA.

The hope is that when the first Muslim President of the United States of America is sworn into office it is with this Koran.
