Actually act on climate change. The U.S. should be a global leader on the sustainability front.

Today, we live in a world where our children's fate is uncertain. There is a path to destruction and one to sustainability and economic growth. I challenge the citizens of the greatest country to keep it that way, great.
Right now global warming is a scientific fact. As carbon levels rise so does the temperature. The surface temperature has been hotter but the rate at which it is increasing doesn't allow for adjustment; it doesn't allow for the coasts to be protected as the oceans rise and heat for example and it doesn't allow for our food supply to adapt.
I urge the government to stand up aggressively whether it be by decreasing subsidies on fossil fuels, imposing a carbon tax, increasing R&D funding for alternatives, or a combo. The important thing is that we #ActuallyActOnClimate.
