We petition President Obama to act to establish a financial incentive program to encourage “whistle blowing” on those who are committing fraud through the abuse programs that provide benefits such as Social Security Insurance, Medicaid, Social Security, etc.
The number of people committing such fraud must be very high because it seems to be an objective of so many people to “get on disability” so they don’t have to work. We believe that incentivizing people who become aware of such fraud by paying them a reward based on a percentage of the annual benefits of the perpetrator of the fraud would help reduce the number of occurrences. At a time when we are faced with cutbacks in entitlement programs, what better way to start than removing those who are really not entitled?
