One of the main roots of this economic crisis is the inflation of gasoline. Gas prices have increased up to $2 per gallon in the last 4 years. This kills small business owners and middle class workers. With gas pricing higher produce and supplies delivered would also cost the employer more money. This would then effect employment negatively causing unemployment. Unemployment is one of the huge parts of the national debt and welfare stamps.
Either lower gas prices A LOT, or venture into the eventually profitable green technology. Installment costs are definitely straining, but they will pay for themselves soon enough.
