President Obama, the sanctions we have in place with Cuba serve no purpose. We have not had normalized relations with Cuba for over 40 years, yet our sanctions have not accomplished anything. Our policy is based on the Cuban vote in Florida and is not rational. We have normalized relations with China and Saudi Arabia, nations that have far greater human rights violations than Cuba. Our policy shouldn't be based on 1 million+ Cubans living in Florida and should be rational. I ask that you normalize relations with the country of Cuba.
