Whatever our politics is, chances are that almost all middle class citizens deeply resent the multi-million dollar expenditures by the super wealthy, in the 2012 election...
The 2010 “Citizens United” decision by the US Supreme court allows these unlimited expenditures to now occur…
Beyond just the violation of the spirit of “one person, one vote”, any $5 or $25 or even $100 contributions we might make would be useless…if the “Citizens United” decision continues, unchallenged…
Perhaps there is some way to avoid a repeat of this obscenity, in the 2014 and subsequent elections… preferably without the need for a decades long effort to amend the US constitution…
