Act to repeal the 24th amendment to allow for establishing an EARNED income based prerequestite qualification for voting

Created by R.S. on November 14, 2012

Clearly, without 'skin in the game' the American electorate has become fond of voting for whomever is promising the most 'free stuff' while punishing success. We have adopted a Robin Hood mentality. Unless we limit our electorate to those that actually produce and contribute, we are doomed to become the likes of Greece. With a continuation of our current path, we risk violent bloodshed and great pain for millions once we can no longer print or borrow what it takes to pacify the masses. For the sake of the union, we must establish an minimum EARNED income based requirement for entering a vote in federal elections. This would require the repeal of the 24th amendment. If voting is a privilege that can be removed for committing a federal crime, it too should be removed for long term dependence
