To act upon Constitutional law and historical precident and create the State of Jefferson

Created by J.R. on November 15, 2012

We ask the President to act upon Constitutional law (Article IV, Section 3, clause 2) and historical precedents set by President Abraham Lincoln and grant the will of the people of the area referred to as “The State of Jefferson “statehood. To deny the will of the people in these areas would and is a criminal act, in direct violation of our Constitutional rights of equal representation and minority rights, as well a denial of our basic human rights set under the United Nation Declaration of Human Rights. With these causes stated as such, WE THE PEOPLE of the State of Jefferson , expect our President to act in good faith and to act according to U.S. law and thus grant the creation of the State of Jefferson as a political and physical area of the United States.
