We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Action must be taken for the underprivileged and poor

Created by N.G. on August 24, 2016

We need action to be taken as soon as possible to allow underprivileged and poor citizens have the right to higher education with no cost. Millennials and all generations are struggling to make ends meet with the current job market, especially if they don't have the financial support of there families to attend college. In order to get into college you must pay, and where not talking about a few hundred dollars a year, we are talking about thousands of dollars. Some families are wealthy enough to pay there children/grandchildren's tuition costs. Where does that leave the underprivileged poor? Where does that leave the homeless? Where does that leave the retail workers working on a starvation wage? FASFA is broken and must be rectified to allow people making less then $35,000 be eligible
