Activate US Navy Sixth Fleet to Offer Refugees Safe Passage in Crossing the Mediterranean Sea into Europe

Created by T.U. on September 03, 2015

In light of the recent influx of refugees seeking asylum in Europe and their safety being of the utmost importance, the US has a duty on a humanitarian level to intervene and ensure that their passage is procured without incident and that fatalities are minimized.

Their dangerous crossings of the Mediterranean Sea have been largely unsupported by the global community and is not only an unnecessary course, but one that is unfathomable by the most discerning of humanitarian minds. We have a humanitarian duty to these neighbors to aid them in whatever capacity is needed and the US is fully capable and equipped to provide immediate assistance. Our US Naval Ships can serve as an intermediary in processing these refugees and assist in relocation efforts.
