WE THE PEOPLE petition for:
(1) Active Duty / Reserve Military and Civilian Government Employees who possess valid state concealed-carry Weapons Permits (CCW) to carry on federal property, including military installations, to preserve the rights afforded by the 2nd Amendment.
(2) The aforementioned persons must secure their firearm in a locked container in compliance with state and local laws in their vehicle prior to entering into a federal building.
(3) For individuals who commute via public transportation, firearms must be declared and surrendered at the main entrance of the federal building; not the installation entrance.
ISSUE: Federal employees are stripped of their 2nd Amendment rights when commuting to/from their place of federal employment.
