Stop continuously looking for reductions in military pay and/or entitlements (medical and/or retiree benefits) when talking budget cuts and start looking at cutting the excessive pay and benedits for our congressional "leaders" if pay cuts need to happen. Also be proactive in reducing fruad, waste and abuse from NUMEROUS govt agencies if you are actually serious about finding ways to cut spending or save money.
