We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

Actively denounce racist activity resulting from the Nov. 8, 2016 election of Donald Trump.

Created by R.S. on November 10, 2016

We are seeing a rash of openly racist and sexist activity following the election of Donald Trump in the 2016 election. Mr. Trump campaigned on a platform which encouraged racism and sexism. His followers have used his election as license to engage openly and shamelessly in these reprehensible activities. Persons of color, transgenders, non-Christians, homosexuals, and other minority groups are being actively maligned blatantly open circumstances.

President-Elect Trump and President Obama together need make a public appeal that these values are not what America is about, that the presidency does not stand for this behavior, and that it must stop immediately.

We can't stop racism, but it's our duty to curtail these sort of activities.
