We petition the Obama administration to open up diplomatic relations with North Korea in order to alleviate the suffering within the country and eliminate the tension felt worldwide. The North Korean people are starving to death and thousands are dying in labor camps. We cannot stand by anymore and watch it happen. Military intervention is not necessary- simply opening up peace talks with Kim Jong Un will be enough to show the world (and the North Korean people) that we are not the enemy. The Korean economy will greatly benefit from participation in the international economy. The United States will be able to directly benefit from it as well.
Engage North Korea in talks on neutral ground and show the world that what makes us a great nation is our ability to tackle any challenge.
