For years the bank HSBC was laundering money and committing tax evasion for drug cartels and criminals. The US DOJ let them off and not one banker is going to be indicted. This is an event of calamitous proportion, basically saying if you are Too Big Too Fail, you are Too Big Too Jail. The people demand equal justice for equal crimes. Day in and day out low level drug users and dealers have their assets seized and spend time in prison. This kind of settlement, along with the DOJ's decision to not prosecute Goldman Sachs for their fraudulent practices has disenfranchised an entire generation of people. We cannot take pride in our country, if our country takes hypocritical stances on things like JUSTICE. Either the DOJ does its job, or the DOJ needs to be replaced with someone who will
