actively work to save the life of Meriam Ibrahim, who was illegally sentenced to death by the Sudanese Govt.

Created by W.C. on May 19, 2014

Meriam Ibrahim (whose husband is a US Citizen) was illegally sentenced to death by the Sudanese government on May 15, 2014. This is illegal under the Sudanese Constitution (allows religious conversation without restriction) and international law (protects religious freedom). This action is a human rights atrocity and we petition the US Govt. to take action.
1. To save her life;
2. We encourage the US Attorney General to sue the govt. of Sudan under the following exception to the Foreign Sovereign Immunity Act: extrajudicial killing (voiding the illegal court of Sudan);
3. We encourage the US Govt. to sue the government of Sudan under International Law for violation of human rights and religious freedom;
4. We encourage the US Govt. to sanction govt. officials in the country of Sudan.
