Actively work toward a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine.

Created by R.W. on September 22, 2011

The Obama Administration should actively engage Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, the Arab League, the United Nations Security Council and Israel toward a definitive two-state solution for the people of Palestine.

A two-state solution would begin to bridge a deep divide between two sides whose history of conflict is too lengthy to recount.

While the President has publicly stated his goal to see a two-state solution to the ongoing dispute, recent comments before the United Nations seem to imply that the administration is not taking a leading role in the peace process.

The United States should join our allies like India and France in support of Abbas' UN resolution seeking recognition of a Palestinian state.
