actually address and act upon petitions calling for removal of Westboro Baptist Church's tax exempt status

Petitions calling for recognizing Westboro Baptist Church as a hate group and removing their tax exempt status have more than met the required criteria for response for months. Rather than give lip service to these petitions (as has been the standard in the past) we call on the administration to not only finally issue a response to the petitions, but to actually initiate an investigation into whether this group should be tax exempt. If you have such an overwhelming response to a petition it deserves better than to be ignored until you can quietly issue a response without having to be controversial.
