For many years taxpayers have flipped the bill to house, feed and guard among other things of convicted felons on death row. What does that say to the people that decide to not follow our laws?
There are always going to be felons but hopefully a few lives can be saved because the punishment will actually be carried out. Also how much money is spent on these people? The money saved could be diverted to fund a number of failing social programs throughout our country.
If it were up to me public hangings or the electric chair will be the only options for the sentenced.
