Actually listen to We The People and our Petitions.

For too long I have signed many petitions only to get the standard we hear you BUT... answer. I am tired of the BUT in your responses. You always seem to answer that you agree but then state what you are going to do anyways which is why the petition was created in the first place. I thought this was so you could here the people and we could actually influence you to do what We The People have elected you to do. I want to you to stop doing what you think is best and start listening to the people and do what we think is best. If we have done the work to get to 100,000 signatures then there is obviously enough people who want the change. Your job then becomes easy. All you have to do is actually listen.
