To whom it may concern,
We, the people of this nation, make and sign these petitions because it is often our only opportunity to change our nation for the better. When you rationalize infringements on all persons for the offenses of a few (see the TSA, an organization that routinely abuses its power for purposes of 'justified' sexual assault and unwarranted search of possessions; et cetera), you are essentially throwing our efforts back in our faces.
Please stop insulting us with this condescension and start actually listening. If you can't do that, please at least have the decency to stop pretending, and just shut off the petition section of the site.
