The government has been incompetent when it comes to helping or trying to prevent identity theft. My sister (only in her 20's and has 2 young children) has experienced it in her life and and what does the FBI do? What does the government do? THEY GAVE UP. They gave up on my sister and many other people through out our nation. Why is that?
With my sisters situation, they know where the identity thief works and what her job there is.
Why isn't the government and law enforcement going after these criminals? Why isn't the government pushing the law enforcement to follow up with these cases?
I for one know that it isn't just my sister with this problem. There are thousands of people with their lives ruined and the government won't step up to the plate and help.
