Currently the Anericans with Disabilities Act allows employers with less than fifteen (15) employees to not have to follow the policies and procedures as do the larger corporations. A full functioning office is established with five or more employees and such should be held to the same standards as those with fifteen employees. This act has been in place long enough for business's, law firms, and other entities to realize how to "work the system" and maintain a staff just under the threshold to avoid responsibility under the guidelines of this act. It is time to make a change.
