We the people request that the federal government institute a 1 cent federal tax on all purchases and financial transactions inside the United States or its territories, and on any item made in the U.S. This 1 cent federal tax is a small amount of money that would utilize our world's natural consumerism. With us making trillions of transactions every day the funds would add up quickly. We would apply all funds towards paying off the deficit. This would help strengthen the American dollar for the American people. This is a small amount for each of us to contribute to help make America better. When the deficit is paid off the funds would be transfered to health care for all Americans. This would also make the penny very useful again. Help the penny, help you.
