After recent mass shootings many people are calling for stricter gun control laws. Reversing the 2nd Amendment would cause a huge public outcry, yet doing nothing yields the same results. By adding $1000 tax to each gun purchase, it would increase the overall cost of gun ownership. If we used the money collected to fund quality mental health programs, maybe we could help prevent future loss of innocent life.
