Dear President Obama,
Today your campaign made it clear that cannabis law reform is not on your 2016 agenda. We the people are asking you to please reconsider this, and to take 2016 as an opportunity to support reforming our federal cannabis laws.
Legalizing cannabis is supported by 58% of Americans according to the most recent Gallup poll, and support for legalizing medical cannabis is much higher.
Whether it's rescheduling cannabis away from schedule 1 on the controlled substance list, or whether it's supporting legislation to fully end cannabis prohibition (such as the Ending Marijuana Prohibition Act of 2015), we ask that you support a reformation of our failed cannabis laws.
