add to the Constitution, term limits for Representatives serving in Congress to 2 full terms only.

Created by B.C. on March 27, 2014

The Citizens of the United States in an effort to create a more balanced government, petition the President and members of Congress to add term limits to the Constitution for members of the House of Representatives. The idea of choosing Members of the House to represent the people has lost it’s credibility as many Representatives are locked in DC serving many consecutive terms leaving them out of touch with the common voter. In order to bring new ideas to Washington, we need to be able to elect new members which are difficult due to well financed incumbents that serve many terms. The days of serving your country as an elected official should be an honor, and not a career in Government. The 2 term limit is fair and parallels the 2 term limit of the Presidency and of the Senate.
