add a drinking license for eighteen year olds

Created by J.D. on May 15, 2014

Driving a car is considered a privilege. At a certain age, depending on the state that you live in, you are eligible to take a test to get your driver’s license. Your driver’s license can be taken away though if you break rules while driving, for example, speeding, too many tickets, or drinking while driving. My proposition is too turn drinking from a right to privilege as driving is done. My proposition is at the age of eighteen, you are eligible to take a test to receive a drinking license. The drinking license allows a person from the age of eighteen to buy and consume beer and wine products. They have this license until they are twenty-one. At the age of twenty-one, they are then considered able to drink any alcohol without the use of a license.
