We live in a democratic Nation that is suppose to value the opinion of the people. I believe that in some ways this is true but in other ways it is not. For instance, Our voting process forces its citizens to choose the lesser of the evil of the candidates instead of us picking someone that we can truly get believe in.
We should have on every ballot an option to vote for a recast of candidates so that we the people have a stronger say so in who is elected for government. I have been through too many elections where that I am not happy with any of the candidates and feel I must just choose the best of what the political parties puts forward rather than choosing the best candidate overall.
