Millions of Americans struggle to stop smoking every minute. Smoking kills by the millions and costs tax payers billions. SmokeFree.gov lists options from telephone counseling to nicotine patch/gum/lozenges which have a very low success rate, to hypnosis and laser therapy which have little or no proof that these therapies actually help people quit smoking successfully (according to their own site https://smokefree.gov/tools-tips/explore-quit-methods). At least one national anti-tobacco organization thetruth.com recommends electronic cigarettes.
I am asking that www.smokefree.gov add the electronic cigarette option for smokers. Americans are being left behind. In the U.K. both Royal College of Physicians and the National Health Services recommend e-cigs as a "quit method".
