add federal oversight to state penal systems and prevent abuse of state "authority."

Created by T.R. on March 12, 2012

State systems of probation and parole are broken and in violation of basic rights granted to citizens of the United States. Once a person is sentenced in court within the limits of law, many probation/parole officers over step any and all bounds and impose punishments and limitations in excess of those permitted by state laws. Individual officers of probation systems arbitrarily impose limits of which jobs locations and even in which job sectors a person may work. Persons are very often forced to suffer unemployment or very poor quality jobs when higher paying or more suitable employers are willing to hire them. The "unalienable" rights of liberty and pursuit of happiness are being stripped by folks who are themselves not judges and who are working outside our nation's basic precepts.
