Education is a key component to a successful economy. Graduate school is the highest level of education, yet one that is only reachable by some. Currently there are only Pell Grants available to students that qualify for the TEACH program. This is a program geared towards training teachers into certain subject areas. But the world economy requires educated employees in more areas than just teaching. All other fields of study are limited to students with money, or students that are able and willing to take on tremendous debt. With the addition of Federal Pell Grants for ALL Graduate school programs, we can better our prospects for the future as we compete in a global market.
