We are living in the dark ages of gay rights. Just as it was once acceptable to have slaves, or prohibit women to vote. It's currently acceptable for government to deny same-sex couples the right to marry, or be in the military.
Homosexuals deserve the same rights everyone else has. If we are all created equal, then lesbians and gays should have every right to marry and have equal rights to heterosexual couples.
I'm calling for President Barack Obama to give same-sex couples the same constitutional rights straight couples enjoy. Just as we've eradicated slavery, and given women the vote, it's time we give homosexuals their full right to health, wealth, and happiness.
