Mr. Pesident, I am astounded every day to see reports of how XX% of Americans are unable to find a coutnry on a map, whether its the 10% who think Sudan is in Europe, the 88% who don't know where Afghanistan is, and the 1 in 5 Americans who can't find the Usa on a globe. Although the study that shows this is nearly seven years old, its results would probably be applicable today, at least judging by the competition I had in the National Geographic Bee. America should take action and add a geaography progam to schools, K-12. Already hired history teachers should teach the subject, possibly as a combined class. America, it's time to act.
