Add kick scooters to the California Hazardous Recreational List, California code 831.7.

Created by A.C. on August 09, 2012

Scooter riding popularity has increased and has developed into "trick" or "freestyle" scooter riding. The cities through out the state of California are concerned about their liability when scooter riders use a public skate park. Many cities have banned scooter usage in their parks because they are not on the Hazardous Recreational Activities list, as skateboarders. Scooter riders are being kicked out by police and even fined. We need your help in getting scootering added to the California Hazardous Recreational List, so cities will have the option to add scooter riding to current and new skateparks.
