Why don't we have a Line Item Veto authority for State Governors and the President?
Such authority would make someone responsible at the Executive Levels for any Legislation Passed.
Start a campaign to add Line Item Veto Authority to all State Governors and to the President of the United States.
No longer would any bill be Vetoed because of excess or bogus Legislation that was added on to it.
End Washington's "Xmas tree effect"
Finally, there would be someone responsible for what is passed and they would pass only what is needed to be passed.
Doesn't matter what Political group they belong to they (Governors, Presidents) would have to be accountable for what is passed.
