This is to petition the administration to establish a precedent whereas in the event of partial Federal government shutdown, the President of the Unites States, relatives, staffers (not including secret service) to relinquish use of the White House during the period of an active government shutdown. During this period, the President and Vice President shall relocate their office to the chamber of Congress in which the opposing political party has a larger portion of control whether it be the House or Senate. If both chambers have a majority of a party which the President identifies him or herself, then the office shall be relocated to the chamber with the higher amount of members from the opposing party. The U.S. Constitution does not address a presidential residence.
