Add meat products to the Senior Farmers Market Coupon Program.

The Senior Farmers Market Coupon Program , part of the Arkansas Farm Bill, is written that seniors can only use the coupons to purchase vegetables and honey. This petition is to change the Farm Bill to include USDA processed meat and cheese products. This would include beef, lamb/ mutton, pork, chicken/turkey, eggs and locally made cheeses on the coupons. Seniors need meat protein as much as vegetables.
Livestock farmers should be able to reap the benefits of this grant money.
