add the missing % of daily recommended value for sugar on nutritional labels.

Created by E.N. on September 15, 2014

Currently, nutritional labels do not contain the % of daily recommended value for sugar. Every nutritional label contains the % for things like sodium, fat, and grains, but not sugar. Why is that? Nutritional labels are designed to keep us informed as consumers. Knowing the recommended amount of daily sugar intake, and the percentage of that amount in our food, is an important part of our ability to manage our own nutrition.
