Many of our soldiers survive off of MRE's in the field.
These brave men and women risk their lives to protect our freedom. Sadly many of them deal with heavy depression and have exposure to possible PTSD.
I propose that we bring a little light into the lives of these men and women by adding motivational notes into their meals.
I personally know several veterans or active duty. I know from talking to them that the smallest thing can help brighten their day and make being away from home more bearable. If the government were to put little notes (even something the size of a fortune cookie paper) telling them that they are appreciated, I feel that our troops would have a boost in morale and be less likely to suffer from as much depression.
