We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Add native support to Mac OS operating system for non-Apple devices

Created by O.E. on January 11, 2017

The government should force to do so by law. Fair competition in IT should be concluded in the ability to use the software, including the Mac OS, which is now in free sale, on compatible devices (PCs or laptops) to the user’s choice, and not restrict it in because of encouraging sales of own brand. Such Apple’s software limits cannot justify by the lack of devices support, which has not been implemented by the Apple itself, although most devices are fully compatible in hardware and depends in availability of drivers — software parts for “connecting” hardware with OS. Add support of hardware of third parties to Mac OS or include API for manufacturers, through which they can implement support of their own hardware in Mac OS.
Whereafter the IT world will never be the same.
