Add new QR code warning labels to tobacco products that link to a comprehensive list of adverse effects and risks.

Created by A.B. on August 02, 2013

Current warning labels for cigarettes and other tobacco products are not large enough to cover health effects from smoking. Although they warn users about heart disease, emphysema and cancer, they omit many other diseases that are directly caused by them and facts that may encourage people to quit. These include: tooth loss, premature aging, sagging breasts and wrinkles from weak tissue, failure of surgical implants and exposure to radioactive polonium from contaminated fertilizer. QR labels would allow consumers to quickly read extensive warnings about these products. Since the nation has adopted national healthcare, it is important for the government to limit costs by discouraging unhealthy habits that generate disease. Signing this petition will accomplish this.
