Add "NOTA" (none of the above) as a valid entry on the ballot for presidential elections.

When the people of the US are presented with a controversial or destructive presidential voting choice, adding "none of the above" or "NOTA" to the ballot (either physically printed on the ballot or written in) would allow none of the candidates printed on the ballot to win the election. The election would be won by a write in, another election would be held, or the presidential office would be filled by appointing a well qualified individual who was at no point involved in the presidential race, either as a candidate or a significant monetary donor.
